French Surf and Turf | Cooking Class and Dinner with Joel Olson
Get ready to enjoy an evening highlighting the diversity of French cuisine. Bring out your inner Francophile while helping to prepare and then enjoying:
Classic Bouillabaisse with Sauce Rouille and Aioli (Wonderfully rich seafood stew with the traditional duo of sauces, the first being a pureed bell pepper sauce as well as the classic saffron mayonnaise rich olive oiled croutons); Biftek Haché (True French “Butter Burgers” of ground beef mixed with fresh butter and thyme), Mushroom Gratin (Sauteed Mushrooms with delicately melted Brie cheese) and Purée de Pommes de Terre (Mashed Potatoes); for dessert Sable Breton (French butter cookies).
To complete the French experience, we are offering a special cocktail – a French 75 – for purchase.
Our classes are small, so you get personal attention from our professional instructors. You will work with up to 3 others at your own work station. Your instructor, Chef Joel, is a nationally-recognized culinary instructor with 20 years of teaching experience. He brings his unique flair to teaching, using his sense of humor and passion for cooking to inspire and involve his students.
